Maybe I should start questioning my own sanity... NAAAAAH~ :B
But srsly, I've wanted to make something similar like this for... a good couple of months now and finally got to do it. Got a lot of inspiration from a scene in Hanekawas op in Bakemonogatari/Nisemonogatari (Dun remember).
2-3 days in Photoshop CS5 - Wacom Bamboo tablet - 28 frames (Didn't want it to be longer)
