"Get a grip! Why can't you just be happy?"
That's what I thought of when I drew this picture. I've been thinking it over for years, "Why can't I be just happy" "Why can't I smile it all away". But sometimes the most hardest thing to do is to just smile when you aren't even happy. And I haven't felt truly happy deep from the heart in a couple of years.
At first I wanted to make this drawing really dark, but as I continued on it I just wanted to make it white and pure. I don't really know why. I also like the fact that it's a bit unisex. I can't really figure out if it's a girl or a boy.

I can understand this feeling very well... and I can't imagine it all dark... I think this pure white fits the message better... just a feeling.
